Hannah is 9

Happy 9th Birthday to Hannah!!!!

She is ....
ADVENTUROUS,

 GROWING UP TOO FAST,
 SMILY,
 A NOODLE LOVER,
 ARTISTIC,
 ATHLETIC,
 OUR FIRST PRINCESS,
 DETERMINED TO TRY HER HARDEST,
 BELIEVER IN ALL THINGS GOOD,
 SPUNKY,
FOCUSED....unless the TV is on!!!!,
 STRONG,
 WILLING TO TRY NEW THINGS,
 BEACH BABE,
 ANIMAL LOVER,
 BRAVE,
 AND MUSICAL.

A FEW LIFE LESSONS HANNAH COULD TEACH.......
SHE HAS VARIED INTERESTS AND WILL TRY ANYTHING ONCE.
SHE DOESN'T MIND DOING SOMETHING ON HER OWN.
SHE IS VERY GO WITH THE FLOW AND DOESN'T GET UPSET IF PLANS CHANGE.
SHE WILL PLAY WITH ANYONE WHETHER IT IS HER BFF OR SOMEONE SHE JUST MET.
SHE DOESN'T HOLD A GRUDGE...maybe for a little while with her sisters

Saturday Sports

For the last few Saturdays, Macy has been playing soccer and Hannah has done baseball.
She loves that she gets to wear some of Hannah's athletic clothes!

The true sign of concentration....Tongue against your cheek!

Hannah is only one of 3 girls from the 3rd grade that are playing baseball.  I love how that doesn't bother her and that she loves any kind of sport.

Girl Scouts Bridging Ceremony

As of Friday afternoon, we now have a Junior and Brownie Girl Scout.  Both Hannah and Kaylee took part in the Bridging Ceremony to move up to the next level.  They have enjoyed scout this year and Macy will be joining them in Daisies next year.

This year, I was the Brownie leader, but I will move to Daisies next year.....Need to keep my volunteering even between the girls!!!
Under the balloon arch to become  Junior.

 Now a Brownie
The ceremony ended with Make New Friends, but Keep the Old.  Then, it was free time in the pool!!!

Mother's Day Tea

For Mother's Day...a few weeks ago....Macy's class had a tea for all the mothers.  It was a fun event with snack, singing and presents!

Apparently, my mopping skills have really made an impact on her....but she does think I am beautiful!

Life is Good when you have a Macy to call you Mommy!

Pretty Hair

Since the BIG girls got their ears pierced last week, I told Macy she could go to the salon for a haircut and mani/pedi.
She told me she would get it cut short so she and her cousin, Morgan, could be twins this summer.

BEFORE
The first time I had my hair shampooed this way it freaked me out.  I was wondering the whole time how they would rinse it.

They take you to a wash basin to rinse, and it is the best shampoo job ever!!!!
Hair and nails at the same time:
 AFTER
She was getting a little sad about it being so short.
By the time we got outside she was all smiles again....I told her now her hair was cute and healthy.  She has told each of her sisters their hair isn't healthy about 10 times each!!!

Pretty Ears

To celebrate Malaysia's Labor Day...AND their friend's 7th birthday.....the BIGS got their ears pierced today!

After lunch, but before the BIG event

There has been A LOT of discussion about the order of who is going when for the last few weeks!!!!!
Luckily, they all had the marker spots put down first, so they could watch one another without the anticipation of the earring gun!

Then, it was time for the earring!!!

The big 3rd grade sisters went first to show the younger girls how to be brave.

First ear was good and time for the second.
Insert about 30 seconds of Kaylee crying here!!!
They are so excited tomorrow is a free dress day at school, so they can really accessorize their outfits with the earrings!

Life is Good when you can make memories with friends!
