Fun on the Farm

I forgot to take pics for most of our Indy trip...........We had a great few days catching up with friends---it was almost like we hadn't missed 6 months!!!!

However, I remembered while we were out on the farm with our friends the Hills.

Everyone loves sidewalk paint!!!
In the morning, we went over to their grandparents' place to see the horses,
and Hannah could hardly wait to ride in the afternoon.
Mr. Dan was kind enough to get everything ready and lead each of the kids on a ride.

Whitney preferred a wagon ride from her new little buddy, their cute cousin!

Nate was a real expert on the horse!!!

I wasn't sure how Macy would do, but she was comfortable enough to ride with no hands for a bit!!

We ended the night with S'mores..
..These crazy cats thought wearing tights was hilarious!!!

Meeting a New Friend

On Monday, we got to do something we have been wanting to do since March...Meet Baby Clea!!!!  One of our very favorite people had a baby while we were away, and we needed to wait for our trip to Indy to meet her.  We did see her on Skype once, but seeing/holding her in person was much better!!!!!

Kaylee has always been a baby lover, but Macy surprised me in how much she wanted to hold Clea.

Clea was very patient while we tried to get a good picture of the 5 of them.

Once Hannah had her pic taken she was done loving on the baby.
The other 3 girls spent quite a long time taking turns holding her.
Whitney may have a new BFF!!!!
Life is Good when you get to spend the day with a new baby---and her Mommy!!!!

Boating with the Berans

On Thursday, our old Omaha neighbors came up to my parent's house.  It was 2 days full of boating and swimming.
All the kids wanted to to tube and they wanted to do many different combinations of people.

The Hannahs were the only 2 that really wanted to go fast!!!

A Hannah Sandwich with Kaylee in the Middle

Ice Cream break in the afternoon
Heading down for S'mores after dinner

Not too fond of the sand---AGAIN-- but wanted a marshmallow!!!

Wet 'N Wild

While the Babies napped and the Daddies did home improvement projects, the BIGS went to the waterslides.

They were having so much fun the boy in the back photo bombed us  ;)
There were 3 slides that all used the same stairway to get up....It was a great set up for parents because we could sit at the base and see them go up each time...........Hoping next year they have some lounge chairs in the shade for us!!!!!

These almost 2 year olds are going to be BFFs for a long time!!!!
The slide will never be the same again......

Life is Good with cousins--
-messy faces, no pants, wearing your cousins sweatshirt and everything else crazy included!!!!

Life is Good!!!!

We love visiting our family in North Platte, but this visit had an extra special reason.....  We had a grave site visit to my grandma that passed away in February.

She was laid to rest in Fort McPhearson (a national cemetery in Maxwell, NE)along with my grandpa.
Her information was on one side and his was on the other.

Grandma's favorite color was pink......

 The August Birthdays
Grandma loved to end her letters with "Life is Good!"

Since we weren't in town for the church service in February, it was so nice to be with family and share a few memories of grandma during the days we were there.
She was tiny lady with a BIG heart.  When something interested her she was very involved with it....Her family, playing bridge, the color pink, politics, art---Georgia O'Keefe and painting and her PEO group.

Life is Good!!!!
